Last month, we decided to do a last minute trip to Napa to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. I know, we already had our big trip to France in celebration of that milestone, but there was a compelling reason to go: we had a free Marriott night that we had to use or lose. What better justification to spend our anniversary winetasting in Napa?!
We discovered a new (to us) winery -- Jacuzzi Family Vineyards (yes, that Jacuzzi. Who knew they were into hot tubs and wine?)
We also checked out the Gloria Ferrer winery located in a picturesque setting at the crest of a hill.
When Bill stopped on the way up the driveway for me to take that photo, I looked to my right and saw an intruder amongst the vines!
We enjoyed our tasting on an outdoor patio overlooking the rolling vineyards.
We're so glad we had our 40th anniversary as an excuse for so much celebrating! Can't wait for our 50th!!!
