We’re off again on a new adventure and this time we have some new cruisers with us. Verne and Peggy Roberts have taken the plunge into cruising! We left Antioch at noon via Town Car and driver (Nice to have someone else do the driving) to the port of San Francisco. Before we left we had a send off farewell by Melanie, Maile, Mason, Kira and Punk.
Punk doesn’t get the idea of posing for a photo or maybe he does!
As you can see we left Antioch in the blazing sun and hot weather only to be greeted by Alaska type weather in San Francisco.
Verne and Peggy basking in the sun on a warm San Francisco day!
Cindy and Bill getting ready to go under the Golden Gate Bridge (Peggy in the background on the lookout for icebergs)
Our first big accomplishment was to get through the pre-cruise muster drill.
Cindy is modeling the latest fashion in post Titanic survival wear. Goes well with the earrings, don’t you think?
Our final photo of the day is our ship with the Movie Under the Stars screen, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin headlands as we leave the protected San Francisco bay and head into the Pacific (which means peaceful sea YEA RIGHT!!!).

Yay! We liked looking at the photos. Mason says -"I like the boat." (And he also wanted to know who that lady was with 2Gamps in the picture! he didn't recognize Grandma with her hood up!)
Maile says- "Maybe Punk is shy" and "Tell us if you see any wildlife."
2Gamps spotted 2 whales from their balcony yesterday and called down to our cabin so we could see them too! We also saw a bald eagle when we were at Butchart Gardens. I think 2Gamps was the first to spot it -- now we know where Vernie gets his incredible wildlife spotting ability from!
