As I was saying . . . most iguanas weren't shy. The ones below were congregating on the rocks in an effort to soak up the sun in the late afternoon.
Since the animals don't view humans as predators, they aren't afraid of us. In fact, they basically ignore us!
Touching any animal is not allowed, and people are asked to stay 6 feet away. We saw more sea lions than any other animal, but we did see quite a variety of species, including:
