We had quite a journey from Quito to the Galapagos, with several modes of transportation. We flew into San Cristobal then boarded a bus to the dock where we were greeted with a sea lion welcome.
Our next mode of transportation was a zodiac, which took us to our boat, The Galapagos Legend.
We spent 5 days visiting several islands, with zodiac excursions each morning and afternoon. The wildlife was the main attraction. Probably the most famous are the tortoises and the boobies.

The only place on earth that the Marine Iguana is found is in the Galapagos. They're very colorful! This guy thought he was hiding from us.
Most weren't so shy about showing themselves.
