We started out the day touring Lyon, the second largest city in France. They spruce up some of their buildings in the city by painting the blank walls, such as the one below.
We saw this same thing done in Quebec City last fall. They also have a unique way to pass from one street to the next. There are 360 passage ways throughout the city that lead from one street to another. Over 50 of them are open to the public to use from 7AM to 7PM. The following sequence of photos shows how it works.

We left Lyon in the early afternoon and spent the rest of the day cruising the Saone River.

The passage way door totally reminds me of The Adjustment movie we just saw with heather! Did u make sure only to turn the handle clockwise? ;)
