Paris at a Glance

We arrived in Paris after a five hour bus ride after our disembarkation from the Viking Neptune.  We boarded the Viking Spirit on the Seine around 4 PM and were greeted with this view from our ship.

The next morning we took a whirlwind bus tour of the city, seeing such famous sites as Notre Dame.

We saw other sites in the city such as

   

cars in all sizes                                                statue of liberty                &      ground zero where Paris started.

We completed our bus tour and were greeted at the gangway by our chef

 passing out fresh cut apples as a nice refreshing snack.

The afternoon was free time for us to venture around the city.  Since we were so close to the Eiffel Tower we decided to take a ride up to the second observation deck for some photos of the city.

We finished up our tour of the tower by walking from the 2nd observation deck back down to the ground level.
