Hello, Austria!

Here we are in Austria, for our first visit to this country. We have a timeshare for a week in an alpine resort town about 40 miles outside Salzburg. It is a scenic setting, exactly as we pictured. Today, we hiked from our village to Liechtensteinklamm, a spectacular waterfall just a few miles away. 

The gorge leading up to the waterfall was even more impressive than the waterfall itself. 

The path from the entrance of the area to the falls was varied and interesting.

When we left there, we hiked through quiet forest trails to an area called Alpenland, another tourist destination.

Guess what they had at Alpenland? ICE CREAM! 

And, more beautiful views, of course.
