Looking for Mozart and the von Trapp family

We drove into Salzburg today to do Rick Steves' walking tour and to sign up for Sound of Music tour later this week.

We had to get a photo of one of the most famous people born in Salzburg, that would be Mozart of course!
The yellow house is the one he was born in.  As you can see he still attracts a crowd.
This is the church he was baptized in and belonged to for his first 25 years. He also played the church organ here each Sunday until he moved to Vienna.
Salzburg is also known as the city of castles. You can see one on the top of the hill above the guy standing on the gold ball (guy, gold ball !? public art, need I say more!)
This is the cemetery where the Von Trapps hid from the Nazis during their escape.
This is the concert hall they performed at right befor their escape.
After all that touring in the rain we worked up quite an appetite. Cindy said she only wanted one pretzel!
