Copenhagen will not be the same since the Lewis girls have arrived. The Danes are stopping in the street and pointing at the three sisters. You can see their puzzled look wondering how three women can talk at the same time and understand each other!
Just kidding, Cindy and I met up with Sandy, Beth and Ray this morning for a tour with our best buddy Hans. The tour was great and after the tour he told us about a good cheap place to get lunch, a butcher shop close to the end of his tour. The open face sandwiches were only 2 dollars each.

After lunch we parted ways. Cindy and I were going to meet Hans for his Rosenborg Castle tour. Sandy, Beth and Ray had another tour scheduled.
Oh yes the Rosenborg (or Rose) Castle. You can see we were having some liquid sunshine today but it didn’t slow us down. This castle was built by Christian 4th as a summer castle outside of Copenhagen but since the city has grown it is almost in the middle of modern day Copenhagen. The castle is no longer used as a home for the monarchy; it is a museum that houses the crown jewels and the King & Queen’s thrones. The crown jewels are still worn by the queen for state dinners and functions.
Flat John and flat Mary Ann really wanted to see the crown jewels.
Once we got into the treasury we couldn’t get them out of the wine cellar. Once flat Mary Ann heard they have been making wine in that castle for over 400 years she wanted to sample some!
Cindy and I did some shopping after the tour and I thought I would post some photos of the things we bought.
Hers and His ski hats
New chairs for the den with a lion coffee table
We will invite you all over to see them once they arrive at our house!
